Kangave Youth Development Group is a community-based non-government organization established in 2019 to support, empower, and transform the lives of young people in Luwero District. The organization was founded on principles of charity, humanity, and collective responsibility, with a firm belief that empowered youth are central to sustainable community development.
The initiative began as a small youth-led effort supporting nine needy young people, comprising six girls and four boys, who came together to help one another access education and prepare for the future. Over time, the organization grew in reach, structure, and impact. Today, Kangave Youth Development Group supports 115 young people, including 89 girls and 26 boys, through well-coordinated education and empowerment programs.
Kangave Youth Development Group focuses on addressing educational, social, and economic challenges faced by vulnerable youth by providing education support, practical skills training, leadership development, and access to information through technology. Our work is designed to promote self-reliance, resilience, and responsible citizenship among young people.
