The Problem

Youth unemployment remains one of Uganda’s biggest challenges. Many young people complete school without employable skills, leading to frustration and poverty.

Our Skills Training Program

KYDG provides hands-on training programs in various fields such as:

• Tailoring and fashion design
• Carpentry and joinery
• Hairdressing and beauty
• Computer and digital literacy
• Agribusiness and entrepreneurship

These programs help youth become self-reliant and job creators rather than job seekers.

Real Stories, Real Impact

Young women who once dropped out of school due to financial struggles are now running small tailoring businesses. Others have joined ICT training and can now use computers confidently. These are the success stories that motivate us to keep going.
